My principal, and most time-consuming, pastime is research into my family history. So far in my researches, on my paternal ancestry, I have got back to the mid-18th century. Various cousins are carrying out research on my maternal side.

I belong to the East of London Family History Society, the Society of Genealogists and the Sussex Family History Group whose quarterly journal, the Sussex Family Historian, has yours truly as its editor.
